We are the third generation to take care of Château de Mauvilly.
It is a great pleasure to be able to offer you our haven of peace!
The Château de Mauvilly property was acquired by my paternal grandparents, Joseph and Andrée Hegner in 1972. It was love at first sight for my grandparents and the beginning of a great family adventure.
As an optician for 15 years, my husband and I, along with our children, decided to take over the family property to give it a new lease of life.
We therefore undertook major modernisation and renovation work: total refurbishment of the electrical network, drainage, total installation of a pellet heating system, changing a large part of the windows and front doors... It took us a good year's work to create 4 guest rooms, each with its own private bathroom.
Everyone participated: brothers, sisters, parents, children... A great family adventure!
Our rooms have been open since June 2018. They have been classified 4 "épis" (ears of corn) by Gîtes de France.
During the summer months, we open a 7-hole "country" golf course in the park of the château. This private golf course is available to our guests.
